I Am Legend...Again...

I shouldn't be surprised considering the amount of money this movie made, but I still think it's ridiculous. "I Am Legend" does not seem like franchise material and it was a mediocre movie anyway. But money talks, and apparently so are speculations for a sequel.
Author Richard Matheson has given sequel rights to Warner Brothers and I feel it's only a matter of time before the movie gets an official green light. Why make a sequel to a movie based on a book that had no sequel? Well, it worked for "Jaws!" Oh... Oh ouch. Damn. Nevermind.
