Is it surprising? The movie is heading for $180 million at the box office and it was made on a budget of $75 million. I've yet to see the film, but fro my understanding it was made with the idea that it could be a franchise starter. It seems there's some speculation if the same principal actors will return for a sequel, but producer Marc Platt has revealed that his intention is to return director Timur Bekmambetov and writers Michael Brandt and Derek Haas.
"The writers are at work already, and those creative discussions are taking place," said Platt.
Fans of "Wanted" rejoice I suppose. I for one still need to see this flick...

Wanted 2???? Why??
What is the whole point of making a sequel? They killed off Angelina Jolie and Morgan freeman. It was a good movie, but it made allot bad turns. I was expecting the kid to reach a new level, but he didn't. I thought he was going to fly or something. The movie was going good until the end. I don't think they should make a sequel, because the ending didn't keep me wanting more.
