Michael Caine, most recently known for playing Alfred Pennyworth in Christopher Nolan's Batman series, will be entering a new type of crime saga. This time, he's the vigilante. Caine will play a retired serviceman who is pushed to take matters in to his own hands when he sees how much crime has polluted the run-down area he resides in.
The film will be directed by Academy Award nominated Daniel Barber. Lionsgate is banking on a worldwide premiere of the film next year.
It's been awhile since Caine has picked up a gun and gotten his own hands dirty. It'll be fun to see him such a role again. Looking forward to it!
