Sam Raimi, director of the Spider-Man series, seems to have revealed the next Spidey villain:“I like it in the Marvel comics when Spider-Man fights Morbius,” said Raimi. “He’s really cool. A vampire! I like that combination of superhero plus supernatural.”
Like me, many thought The Lizard would finally be the next villain, but I wouldn't count him out yet. If Morbius and Lizard were made with the same technology, but different animals, Dr. Connors might still become The Lizard. At least I'm hoping so.
Morbius was never a villain I considered. Is he big enough to take on Spidey?
